Mink yarn comes from mink that are carefully clipped, so no mink die! The fibers are very soft but very short, and therefore it is often spun together with other fibers so that it can be knitted without the yarn breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand and become a lovely shawl, or with two strands and become a beautiful sweater. There is not much mink yarn on the market, so here you get a completely unique product that is also hand-dyed on top of that - win win......
