Mink yarn comes from mink that are gently clipped, so no mink are killed! The fibers are very soft but very short, so they are often spun together with other fibers so the yarn can be worked without breaking. It can be knitted with a single strand into a lovely shawl or with two strands into a cozy sweater. There isn't much mink yarn on the market, so you get a truly unique product here that is also hand-dyed - win win......
